Job Overview

The Customer Supply Chain Manager of the Partner Team is responsible for a key customer in one of the following customer segments HM, CAM, SEC and OEM groups. The position requires interaction with customer service teams, material planners, sales & marketing, other SC functions etc. There will be close contact with customers to follow up on their business expectations. Projects will include logistics solution, customer performance, contracts and dedicated customer projects.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Key account for TOP customers 
  • Understand customers’ SC requirements 
  • Manage customer specific logistics & collaboration projects
  • Derive logistics solutions aligning customer expectations and TE limitations
  • Define logistics standards 
  • Cross-functional review of manuals / requests & response
  • Prepare and negotiate logistics contracts 
  • Understand customers’ and TE liability 
  • Define appropriate tools and logistics standards to prepare and analyse reports on contract compliance
  • Participate in project teams focusing on special freight cost and claims control
  • Negotiate line down costs with customers
  • Participate in special supply chain projects as requested
  • Support Customer Supply Chain Investigation Team to develop supply chain standards
  • Undertake other tasks that are deemed to be within the competence of the individual


  • Bachelor/master’s degree, preferably in logistics/supply chain
  • 3-5-year experience in Automotive supply chain management, preferably optimization of customer related supply chain processes 
  • Proven track record of supply chain improvements and successful customer projects
  • Experience in working with ERP systems and other IT systems at customer interface, e.g. EDI
  • Good communication skills, able to build customer relations and win customers for own ideas
  • Strong analytical and communicative skills, problem-solving skills, pragmatic approach (80/20) 
  • Project management know-how
  • Method Competence, self-reliant and assertiveness
  • SAP, MS Excel
  • Solid in English, written and spoken. 
  • 20-30 % travel
