Cost Improvement and Project Management for Continuous Improvement

Job Overview

The Cost Improvement and Project Management Continuous Improvement is responsible to orchestrate the Operational Material and Conversion Cost Productivity process and synchronize the related activities between the plants, operations management and finance.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities:

 

  • Supporting the management with Regular & Ad Hoc Reporting / Initiatives:  general support to the regional leader (e.g. preparing for meetings, business reviews, etc.) which may include data or presentation-related analysis, as well as work cross-functionally on special projects (e.g. Operations, Finance, Procurement)
  • Data preparation and reporting for monthly plant cost-saving initiatives review
  • Execute and track the action plan from the monthly cost improvement review
  • Lead and coordinate projects and work together with our Automotive EMEA Operations plants, internal partners (Finance, CoE, Procurement) on Cost improvement initiatives (OMP, CCSI), aligned with Operations Automotive EMEA Strategy.
  • Support Automotive EMEA Operations plants to identify cost-saving opportunities: best Practice Sharing, proposing improvements and process development, etc.
  • Share Successfully Demonstrated Practices (SDP’s) with TE Community.
  • TEBIT maintenance and reporting accuracy
  • Lead the coordination and accountability for driving results of critical projects - Ongoing monitoring of KPI’s and indicators
  • Be a critical player to work with key stakeholders to support CCSI and OMP Target setting

 

Main Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Management, Engineering, or similar
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced industry and continuous improvement
  • General knowledge of Operations / Manufacturing processes
  • Project Management experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing technologies: Stamping, Plating, Assembly, Molding
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-direction and motivation
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Experienced with data visualization tools like PowerBi, Tableau is a clear advantage
  • Team player with a solution-focused problem-solving mentality
