Job Overview

As a Digital Marketing & SM Analyst, you work in the Marketing team for the Business Unit AUTOMOTIVE, which is developing and executing Digital projects for the EMEA region. 

In this role you are project managing the development and roll-out of new digital initiatives (Digital Transformation Engine) as well as the social media presence of the BU with the central digital team and in close collaboration with the different project stakeholders in the organization (sponsors) as well as Marketing. The objective of this position is to consolidate and lead all internal European digital strategic efforts that are customer facing and to bring them in line with the overarching marketing strategy. By streamlining and working closely with other functional- and segment leads, best practise is shared, and synergies are leveraged. This has a positive impact on budgets and effectiveness in the short-, mid- and long-term.

With the support of our data specialists, you will build a deep understanding of our customer’s characteristics as well as their journey along the different channels we are offering. 

Responsibilities & Profile

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of mid and long-term strategy in the context of new and emerging (digital) media and trends.
  • Develop and manage all digital marketing campaigns, as well as digital properties to deliver a superior user experience, driving revenue potential and brand relevance by working with TE’s business unit marketing teams to curate and create content that helps build TE’s social media channels and across TE’s digital marketing teams for best practice sharing and te.com new function deployments.
  • Support development and execution of new digital strategical projects (digital proxies)
  • Design and maintain relevant portions of te.com, external data activities and potential partner sites; monitor, evaluate and integrate digital programs to maintain the best user experience on te.com for the business unit.
  • Manage digital campaigns to align with the efforts of integrated marketing campaigns and strategies and drive content integration strategies and optimization.
  • Responsible for online database management including email communication plan, database selection, expansion and maintenance.
  • Experience with content publishing, CRM, various tools and content management suites (i.e. Adobe) sales and marketing automation systems (Eloqua, SalesForce.com), Mircosoft Office and Adobe marketing tools; as well as experience with brand reputation management and / or brand protection.
  • Drive data mindset in the team and guide in terms of methodology & technology with regards to campaigns. Collaborate with other analysts / data scientists from the global TS segment team, engineers, product management and commercial colleagues to untap new sources of data and know-how. 
  • Collaborate with the global TS segment team leading improvement projects such as the implementation or expansion of a content strategy
  • Active participation in the implementation of a customer-led corporate culture (TEOA)



  • University degree (min. BA in business administration and preferably also technical background (e.g. industrial engineering, business informatics or equivalent). Very good quantitative degree, e.g. in Economics, Social Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields.
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in Digital Marketing
  • Good English language skills (C1-C2 spoken and written form). 
  • Experience in creating a customer journey
  • Strong understanding of marketing communication
  • Strong social, communication and negotiation skills 
  • Strong strategic and tactical thinking and problem-solving competence
  • Strong communicator to challenge the status quo, tell data stories, maximize decision impact of your results and liaison with commercial and tech people alike.
  • Proactive, fast learner, problem solver, comfortable working in a fast-paced international work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and project management skills. Must be able to juggle multiple projects within stringent timelines.
  • Ability to work independently, able to multi-task and perform under pressure and willing to roll-up sleeves and do the work required for flawless execution
