Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

Position Summary: 
The Operations Financial Analyst role will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to the Global Operations group in the Medical business. The Financial Analyst will work with Operations Leadership and also partner with Finance Controllers, FP&A, Product Line finance and other business functions as needed.
Supported by internal learning opportunities and with exposure to our global network, this role has plenty of scope for growth and progression as the business grows. 

Key Responsibilities of the Position:
• Partner with various Finance and Operations teams to take leading role in the annual Budget and quarterly Forecasts for newly acquired companies, transfer activity and footprint optimization.
• Develop and support of standardization of processes for reporting on new acquisition activity.
• Develop, control and drive commitment to forecasts and profitability/cost targets.
• Work closely with Operations Finance and Business Partner to provide analysis and insights to support the achievement of financial results for the group.
• Drive Month-End activities to attain expected results.
• Support Operations Finance Leader with strategic planning and cyclical reporting to the business.
• Analyse capital expenditure projects for footprint optimization and new acquisitions; ensure both financial and strategic goals are achieved from investments in capital. Work closely with business managers to achieve results.
• Assist in other financial reporting (e.g. strategic plan or quarterly earnings) as requested by BU management, Segment management or FP&A team
• Drive continuous improvement while working in matrix environment

• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Extensive MS Excel knowledge and demonstrated data analytics
• Experience working independently to drive for business results

Skills & Experience Preferred:
• Experience with AS400 MRP, SAP, and other mainframe ERP/MRP Systems.
• Experience with TED2.0, SAP Projects, Hyperion

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to think on your feet and deal with multiple stakeholders in matrix organization.
• Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, humility and a focus on business impact
• Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure, tight deadlines and sometimes ambiguity
• Detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly
