Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

  Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage O2C teams. Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced. Hold regular meetings, coach and mentor team, recognize key employees.
  • Managing CG (cash application in EMEA), organize/ participate in regular ops calls, point of contact and escalations
  • Support migration of O2C processes from countries throughout the Americas to San Jose, Costa Rica
  • Oversee escalated AR, cash applications, credit issues, dispute management and ensure timely resolution
  • Publish enterprise-wide cash application reports, cash forecasts and tracking reports
  • Support as needed, customer negotiations in order to secure adequate guarantees for credit lines
  • Oversee region’s receivables collection activities, including unique collections plans, bankruptcy or special action notices and placement of accounts with collection agencies
  • Provide local O2C Process Lead, Finance Directors/Controllers with bad debt reserve recommendations per corporate policy
  • Appropriately manage and escalate issues with service delivery
  • Perform regular performance evaluations of staff members
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the O2C function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine.  Form strong collaborative relationship with Global Process Owners.
  • Ensure fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), continuously improving on performance benchmarks,
  • Proactively monitor and operate a robust SOX and internal control environment
  • Build strong relationship with key stakeholders

 

 

Experience:

 

•    4+ years of relevant experience in a financial shared service center supporting multiple countries / business units, people management experience 
•    Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
•    Prior experience in managing O2C functions in a shared services environment 
•    Deep understanding of end to end S2P processes and associated technology platforms 
•    Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel 

 

   Knowledge:

 


•    Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting
•    Proficiency in English 
•    Strong accounting background
•    Excellent analytical skill. Ability to identify and resolve problems.
•    Well-developed management and leadership skills
