Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a team that ensures the reliability and performance of critical electromechanical products used in commercial, industrial, and regulated applications. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician or test professional who enjoys working in a lab environment, running product qualification tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with quality and engineering teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform electrical, environmental, vibration, and mechanical testing on relays and electromechanical products
  • Prepare and assemble test samples using hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Operate and collect data from oscilloscopes, DMMs, environmental chambers, and automated test systems
  • Record, review, and validate test data to ensure compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory standards
  • Assist with test documentation and reports as needed
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and calibration of lab and test equipment
  • Follow lab safety, quality, and documentation procedures
  • Work closely with the Lab Supervisor and Quality team on ongoing reliability programs

 

Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (some flexibility; overtime may be required occasionally)

  • Relay Test Fixtures
  • Computer
  • Computerized Test Equipment
  • Hearing Protection
  • Temperature Chambers
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microprocessor/programing experience a plus, but not required

 

Other Duties May Include:

  • May be required to prepare and/or assist in the preparation of Test Reports
  • May be required to be trained to perform other Quality and Reliability functions as needed or deemed appropriate

What your background should look like

  • Technical Degree or 2+ years of hands‑on technical experience in: Electrical testing,Reliability testing, Lab / Test / Manufacturing environments
  • Fundamental understanding of electrical or electromechanical systems
  • Comfortable using measurement tools and test equipment
  • Good soldering skills and manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, and test instructions
  • Familiarity with test documentation and data recording
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Basic computer skills (Excel required; Word/PowerPoint helpful)
  • Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and comfortable working with minimal supervision

 

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with relays or electromechanical components
  • Exposure to vibration or environmental testing
  • Microprocessor or basic programming exposure
  • Experience in regulated or compliance‑driven environments

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $54,300– $81,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
