Job Overview
TE Connectivity – Shipping & Receiving Team Responsibilities
The Shipping & Receiving Teams at TE Connectivity handle both manual and clerical tasks. They use computer systems to track, log, verify, and report incoming and outgoing shipments. Team members follow standard shipping procedures, routing instructions, schedules, and transportation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment.

Use computers to process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documentation.

Route merchandise to the correct destinations.

Load and unload trucks as needed.

Stage materials in designated areas or place them in racks.

Complete data entry tasks accurately.

Prepare outgoing shipments using scanning, labeling, wrapping, and other methods.

Complete all necessary paperwork, including Manifests and Intercompany Bills of Lading.

Maintain recycling operations by creating cardboard bales, weighing them, and recording data on tally sheets.

Support inventory management by conducting row audits and investigating variances.

Process order picks as needed.

Keep the work area clean and organized.

Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should look like:
- HS degree or GED
- Strong keyboarding and computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong Math skills
- Experience using SAP is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to successfully accomplish job duties.
- Forklift Certification required; periodic recertification required.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be proficient in the English language.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $29,600 –$44,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
