Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Systems Teams conduct analysis, evaluation, design, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide systems across engineering, product management and related functional areas. They perform analysis of systems specifications and use the latest analytical/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. TE's Engineering Systems Teams also develop conversion and system implementation plans, prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation, recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards, coordinate system upgrade activity and train user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Daily review sale order for engineering action job, create engineer action job folder, scan engineer action sale order and create link to engineer action table, filing all sale orders.
  • Process ECO drawings, record, notify and distribute all engineering change orders.
  • Required daily drawing files and make closed job folder, files ECO Document and voided drawings.
  • Provide part number, ECO number, CD number and all COP number for Engineering and Sales.
  • Searching Part’s drawings for Stockroom, Sales and Engineering.
  • Provide PDF drawings for Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, CNC, Production, Engineering and Project Management.
  • Support MOG SEACON Global query, search drawings and provide PDF drawings.
  • Maintain and update Q: Drive Engineering’s Database, to ensure that the Engineering date is maintained at eh latest revision and available upon request for all departments.
  • Maintain and update engineering action table, ensure that it links to sale orders for engineers and sales department queries.
  • Support database users queries, backup electronic drawings and old drawings.
  • Print out electronic files as requested.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with company operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Support all departments internal query of part, drawing and document.
  • Provide and create part number, document number, process new drawing, new document into database. Distribute control copy document to related department and file their hard copy.
  • Record, notify and distribute all engineering change orders. Process shop orders and Qual. unit.


  • High School or Equivalent required
  • Degree or equivalent experience preferre
  • Minimum two to three year experience with filing systems and document control systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly process
  • Strong computer skills in MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Windows Explorer, Adobe Acrobat (PDF’s), database & data management software
  • Familiarity with CAD programs (AutoCad, SolidWorks, ) in regards to updating documentation revisions, printing and filingAbility to focus and perform high level of detailed oriented tasks while producing  great level of accuracy in output
