What you will be doing:
As a member of our Industrial Automation and Electrification business unit, the Industry Sales Manager will work directly with customer engineering and buyers to help solve their EMC design challenges. The Industry Sales Manager is supporting the technical expert for the TE Manufacture Rep Agencies, TE direct Key Account Manager and Channel sales teams.  The Industry Sales Manager is setting developing and executing the go to market growth strategy. The responsibilities of this role are to develop growth of revenue EMC Filter solutions.  The Industry Sales Manager is responsible for the pipeline development, new products, managing the sales by collaborating with multiple roles such as TE Mfg Representatives, Product Managers, Channel Managers, and Key Account Managers

 

This is a remote position, targeting Midwest to East Coast regions. 


As the Industry Sales Manager, a typical day may include:

  • Promote full TE portfolio EMC solutions for all applications.
  • Drive brand awareness and position TE solutions & capabilities with our customers
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships to ensure an exceptional customer experience solving technical challenges with TE solutions.
  • Develop revenue growth opportunities through daily interactions with customers and stakeholders.
  • Understand the customer architecture and applications, discuss with engineering teams to solve their design challenges with TE solutions.
  • Understand the customer’s challenges, needs, requirements, capture their voice so TE can be the solution provider including developing new products or modifications to existing products.
  • Respond professionally to inquiries from customers.
  • Develop and execute on growth strategies to align to account plan(s) for growth to TE

What your background should look like:

  • EE Degree required and an MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experience in electronic technical roles of Key Account, Strategic Business Development with Ecosystem tracking, System Architecture to Developing a Go to Market Growth Strategy including coordination of OEM’s, Distribution
  • Channelpartners, and Manufacturing Reps
  • Experience with SAP, and Salesforce.com
  • 25-50% travel required

  • Experience with Power BI preferred, and Huthwaite SPIN Selling.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $120,400 - $150,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
