Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

 

This Project Manager Assistant will work in a team environment in the Project Management department. This group leads Project specific cross functional teams which include members of ~10 various disciplines and is responsible for the successful implementation of a contracted Undersea Fiber Optic Cable System which includes the following activities: - Monitor and manage project scope - Manage project cost and budget - Manage schedule/Plan of work (POW) - Identify and Manage Project Risks - Manage changes to project - Report Lessons Learned The Project Manager Assistant will report to a Senior Project Manager but will support the greater project management team as needed.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities: - Consolidating historical project records into the latest project management SharePoint structure - Ensuring proper and timely communication of project specifics via project specific SharePoint sites - Project task tracking and reporting - Drafting of reports and presentations - Assistance with Lessons Learned recording

 

Qualifications:  - Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Project Management or Business related degree - Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Working knowledge and comfort with SharePoint - Excellent verbal and written communication skills required - Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities - Confident Self starter
