Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities 

  • Participate in monthly/quarterly forecasts (expenses, variances)
  • Establishes and analyses the factory's operating performance indicators
  • Maintains and develops the monthly performance indicators
  • Analyses deviations from manufacturing standards
  • Propose corrective actions following the analysis
  • Participates in the process of calculating costs and hourly rates 
  • Participates in cross-functional projects (continuous improvement)
  • Maintains an internal process control framework


 

What your background should look like:

  • Master's degree in the field of finance
  • 3 to 5 years of experience including at least 2 years of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment 

General skills:

  • Rigorous, methodical and organised
  • Ability to analyse
  • Ability to make proposals 
  • Critical sense combined with diplomacy
  • Management of priorities and deadlines
  • Spirit of initiative

Technical skills:

  • Good communicator
  • Good command of English
  • Familiarity with the industrial environment
  • Computer skills (Excel), Power BI/Spreadsheet would be a plus
  • Knowledge of ERP (SAP) would be a plus
