Job Overview
The TEOA Problem‑Solving Leader for the AD&M Business Unit is responsible for driving global quality excellence by deploying advanced problem‑solving methodologies across all BU operations. This leadership role enables significant improvements in product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction by establishing strong standards, leading strategic initiatives, and developing world‑class problem‑solving talent.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high‑performing global Problem‑Solving organization.
- Partner with BU leadership to define and execute the problem‑solving strategy, including digital capabilities.
- Drive structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and oversee corrective actions to ensure sustainable quality improvements.
- Deploy advanced methodologies (Is/Is Not, Red X, Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, FMEA) across all operations and champion data‑driven decision‑making.
- Anticipate barriers, guide teams on complex technical issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor global quality KPIs, identify systemic issues, and report progress to senior management.
- Build global capability by coaching managers and engineers, identifying talent, and delivering training programs.
Ideal Profile
- Engineering, Quality, or related technical degree.
- 7+ years leading major improvement initiatives in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification; Shainin Red X preferred.
- Proven leadership with experience driving cross‑functional teams and organizational change.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001) and regulatory compliance.
Other Qualifications
- Experience in large, diversified industrial organizations.
- Strong background in Lean, CI methodologies, and statistical tools (SPC, MSA, Capability, DoE).
- Ability to influence senior leaders and communicate effectively across all levels.
