Your main tasks

  • Designs, programs and maintains highly specialized laboratory test equipment for High Voltage contactors for E-Mobility applications.
  • Ensures all machine safety requirements and technical specifications are met.
  • Follows defined time plan, performance and cost targets for new equipment design.
  • Works closely together with E-Mobility HV contactor development teams and with other TE laboratories to understand customer requirements, product design, test specifications and existing test equipment design. 
  • Plans and executes tests on HV contactors in according to test requests, and to customer and internal specifications.
  • Ensures that all test requests (including project number), test sample data (including materials differing from standard), test conditions and test results are stored in the lab data base.
  • Assures test model and sample size are according to the requested normative.
  • Keeps itself continuously updated on customer specifications and main international norms for testing

Your ideal background

  • Bachelor / Master of Science in Mechanical-, Electrical-, Mechatronics- or Material Engineering, Physics or similar areas
  • At least 5 years experience in design and in programming of electrical test equipment.
  • Professional experience in Automotive Industry and knowledge of international normative for product testing in Automotive Industry
  • Experience with electronic hardware and software design
  • Analytic thinking, effective problem-solving skills and risk assessment methods by using modern analysis and design tools
  • Skills for collaborating in international, cross-functional engineering project teams
  • Good communication skills and technical English Language skills
  • Practical and solution-oriented mindset
