Job Overview

 

TE is in the process of executing a critical program to convert the entire company from our existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4 Hana. 

The S/4 Hana conversion project will be staged in four wave deployments to bring TE businesses onto the new ERP system platform. This program will require testing and coordination to ensure the business is operating successfully post deployment. 

As part of the SAP S/4 Hana Business Core Team, you will represent your business unit and segment to help ensure the overall success of the program through active involvement in process reviews, change management, testing, and coordination across all four deployment waves. 

Looking for qualified employee in the field of engineering and/or computer sciences with a deep knowledge of business processes and systems with focus on Logistics Execution (Warehouse and Transportation)

Job Requirements

 

LE Processes: 

  • Plan, perform, and lead business process testing of global and local functions for assigned region or functional area.  Prepare and manage testing scenarios and outputs in each test cycle
  • Lead data validation for assigned areas and coordinate data cleansing efforts in advance of UAT and go-live
  • Coordinate testing efforts with assigned resources, local, and site-specific teams
  • Identify and support documentation and resolution of system/process issues with TEIS and BU
  • Identify any process or system needs/gaps and coordinate resolution with TEIS and BU
  • Execute process testing and change management for interim activities between waves, as needed
  • Provide and support training efforts on changes introduced with the new system
  • Define processes to be tested, and data to be validated
  • Update process documentation and training materials as required
  • Develop organizational change management materials for your respective function on behalf of your BU / segment, and provide guidance to BU functional leadership,  Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and local implementation teams on change management topics.
  • Communicate with BU and segment management / leadership
  • Work closely with the TEIS project team – ability to bridge gap between technical and non-technical peers to resolve issues.
  • Partner closely with the Segment business project manager, BU PMO’s and Segment Tower Leads, as well as cross-functional TS Team peers.
  • Define and execute regression tests throughout wave implementations
  • .Perform and coordinate global data validation and sign-off
  • Plan for and support go-live and final implementation (hyper care) 

What your background should look like

 
  • Associate Degree (High School + 2 years) (Engineering is preferred)
  • 5 years minimum experience in business processes in Logistics Execution
  • Hands-on extensive knowledge of Warehouse and Transportation Processes and related Master Data. (super user level)
  • Technical savvy with familiarity in SAP ERP systems.  Prior involvement in SAP implementations and/or Warehouse Management Execution Systems roll-outs, as Local Implementation Team member or project lead, or EPT Key User participation is a distinct advantage.
  • General understanding of ERP connected system landscape, RPA’s and bolt-on applications
  • Experience with organizational change management
  • Managerial skills and/or aspirations
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
  • Data savvy with experience reviewing, assessing, and validating data accuracy
  • Ability to make timely decisions and provide direction in high-pressure environments
  • Respected within the organization and able to work across regions, segments, and BUs
  • Willingness to travel when required (<25%)
  • English language skills, written and verbal essential
  • Additional local language of TE major country locations is a plus.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and work independently

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $65,400 - $98,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
