Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts. TE Connectivity's Digital Data Networks Business Unit is seeking a strong Account Manager to drive sales, accountability, and engagement. This position will be located in Hungary and will cover the region of Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Romania and Moldovia. The job will be split between 50% on EMS responsibilities and 50% of territory/customers responsibilities. This candidate will be responsible for implementing a sales strategy to not only increase sales but to also significantly improve our engagement, overall interaction and position within this space. This role will include, yet is not limited to; sales interaction, providing technical solutions, training and development, execution of market plans and growing market share and revenue.
Job Scope
- Serve as the primary interface between the customer and TE Connectivity, and serve as a primary Account manager/interface for Key Europe EMS customers support key OEM business, along with other BU and XBU businesses, for business development and continuity.
- Promote TE’s products and solutions to the customer
- Work closely with OEM engineering to develop engineered solutions utilizing TE's existing product portfolio and development capabilities.
- Cooperate with OEM procurement teams to negotiate local and global opportunities.
- Work together with TE FAE’s and System Architects to ensure they are supporting the global customer as necessary to become the preferred supplier.
- Develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the customer to position TE as a strategic partner to the customer.
- Develop relationships with EMS design centers to drive TE favored design discussions and new business development for DDN portfolio.
- Maintain a high level of awareness in regard to industry trends and competitive activity within the Digital Data Network market.
- Drive sales growth through maximization of resources and execution of market segment strategies.
- Work in partnership with the TE distribution channel on selected end customers.
Ideal Background
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical field (Finished Master's degree is a plus)
- 8-10 years of relevant industry experience required
- High proficiency in English and native Hungarian
- Functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment
- Business Acumen (knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace)
