Project Launch Management Team Leader
Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.
Job Scope
- Oversee all NPI activities related to the production plant
- Key contributor at early Project development stage, supporting Design phases (from G2 - award) to validate that product and process definition and align with Plant Operations and Industrial Strategy
- Responsible for the execution of work packages for the Industrial Development of the Project at Plant level
- Ensure the Industrial Development timing and milestones are passed successfully and on time
- Report all risk analysis and associated action plans within the Plant scope.
- Project focus in accordance with the molding and assembly road maps
- Represent the plant in front of project team, customer audits, Sr. Leadership team in case of NPI related topics
- Support the execution of localisation, sustaining, and transfer projects
- Collecting and providing all needed basic production equipment data e.g. machinery and equipment details
- Support the manufacturing management in terms of budgeting, CAPEX planning and allocation of equipment as well as the resulting roll out and execution activities
- Collaborate and support other functional areas in connection with the NPI rleated topics
- Mobility and opennes to travel occasionally

Key skills needed to be successful
- Finished Degree in technical manager or mechanical engineering degree programme (or similar engineering fields)
- 5+ years of experience in various Engineering domain: background experience in technical concepts, in machines, tools and production
- Base knowledge of Lean tools (Six Sigma degree is advantage)
- Good English language skill written and spoken (High level of presentation skills in English)
- SAP knowledge is a strong advantage
- High knowledge level in project planning, and exection practices
- Basic knowledge in project and plant financial practice
- Knowledge of product development processes and manufacturing technologies
