Manager COE Silicon & Molding

Job Overview
  • Develops CoE deployment plans aligned with EMEA Strategy;
  • Supports and mentor site-based teams working on Silicone projects fitting into their deployment plans;
  • Leads future-technology oriented projects based on Project Charters;
  • Develops technical skill levels as required by the plant project teams.;
  • Drives initiatives supporting the site margin improvement;
  • Drives a timely implementation of the technical and Ready to Deploy projects;
  • Ensures availability of right manufacturing competences for new products, processes incl. gap analysis and gap closure plan;
  • Drives competence build-up of required competences in supporting departments ( molding academy silicon );
  • Replicates examples of excellence across EMEA / global and communicate this to other CoE site leaders within BU & across BU’s;
  • Excellent supplier collaboration as far as relevant for the development & execution of the EMEA silicone strategy deployment;
  • Develops break through initiatives in agreement with regional CoE leader;
  • Supports and mentors talents in sites to fill the TE Silicone and Molding Talent Pipeline;
  • Identifies and organizes resources required to achieve successful implementation in accordance with plan;
What your background should look like:
  • Masters degree or comparable education and experience (Polymer technology);
  • Demonstrated scientific understanding about processing LSR (Liquid Silicon Rubber) & HCR (High Consistency Rubber);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design & manufacturing from LSR & HCR molds;
  • 5 to 7 years of technical / operations experience in molding (Thermoplastic &  silicon) with focus on production, logistics or industrial engineering and finance;
  • Demonstrated knowledge about EMEA and global Silicon market ( technologies, suppliers, .. );
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English;
  • Demonstrated project management skills;
  • Analytically minded and data-driven;
