Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Provide premier business partnership with local & regional management.
- Manage talents, being responsible for the local controlling team (_ direct reports), lead the continued professional development of all team members, ensure solid succession plan.
- Drive improvement of financial and operational performance: preparation of financial forecast/budget reporting, track financial performance, foster improvements proactively
- Responsible for all plant reporting, financial and non-financial:
- Annual Budget and monthly forecasting
- Month end close process ownership and report out
- Balance sheet accruals and corresponding monthly account reconciliations
- Productivity and other improvement project adherence and results (TEBIT)
- Capital spend requests creation, submission and detailed explanation
- Productivity, staffing plans, payroll transaction analysis and temp labor control
- Other ad-hoc reporting as needed for internal & external customers
- Ensure strong internal control environment is maintained and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures for all aspects of the manufacturing site.
- Lead communication and support of any internal or external audit visits to the manufacturing site.
What your background should look like:
Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum four years’ experience working with a manufacturing plant.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding and ownership of initiatives for improvement in process controls and procedures.
• Must be highly organized and be able to work on multiple projects that will vary widely in scope, size, and type.
• Ability to deal with, and effectively navigate an ever-changing environment with a matrix reporting structure.
• Experience in supporting or regular interaction with various management levels.
• Strong skills in verbal, written, and presentation communications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency. Strong spreadsheet skills (MS Office applications) required.
