Supply Chain Supervisor
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
In this position, as a team leader (m/f/d), you will lead a supply chain team with tasks of planning, procurement and the organization and preparation of inbound and outbound logistics.

Your area of responsibility includes the following tasks
- Disciplinary and professional management of a supply chain team consisting of production, logistics and detailed planners
- Strategic orientation of the team and value-oriented action in the best interest of the entire company
- Processresponse for the efficient running of all processes along the entire value chain
- Control of the production program of in-house production, the procurement of externally manufactured components as well as ensuring the availability of components and packaging materials from internal and external sources
- Coordination of production program with production, ensuring available resources and capacities
- Demand-oriented planning taking into account the possibilities of batch size optimization via prefabrication, ensuring an adequate stock of finished goods semi-finished products and components
- Responsibility for on-time inbound and outbound logistics in cooperation with the company's own and third-party warehouses
- Organization of internal material provision to ensure the planned production lots, physical material transport, return of residual quantities, balancing
In this role, you will also
- Ensure timely booking routines and regular comparisons of physical and system inventory
- Establishment of a goal-oriented reporting for the control-relevant S KPIs at the Esztergom site
- Proactive and solution-oriented action in the interest of achieving an adequate level of service to the customer
- Development and implementation of processes for the optimization of internal processes in cooperation with the process partners in the areas of production, warehousing, controlling and quality assurance
- Escalationmanagement in the event of supply bottlenecks, in particular in the event of imminent customer line stops
What you should bring
- At least 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, production, warehouse management
- Ideally knowledge of supply processes in the automotive sector, e.g. VDA standards, just in time, lean management
- Leadership experience as a team or group leader
- Very good experience with ERP systems, ideally with SAP
- Very good KNOWLEDGE of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes and procedures
- Assertiveness and high problem-solving competence
- Flexibility and team orientation
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written
