Job Overview

We are seeking a well-rounded HR Solutions Manager to join our amazing team in Esztergom, Hungary.  Option work remotely 1 day per week.


TE Connectivity's HR Solutions Partners provide consultative geographically-based HR professional services, guidance and coaching to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.  They coach managers or employees to ensure that recurring HR processes, such as talent/performance management or salary review processes, are completed appropriately and on time.  The HR Solutions Partner manages a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics.  They conduct employee orientations and implement organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies as developed by the parent organization.


The HR Solutions Manager will act as a liaison between assigned business unit and the corporate HR department. They will partner with management to identify and implement effective strategies regarding HR issues which affect the efficient operations for all Business Units within TE in Hungary. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR management experience working within a multinational environment within the Automotive industry.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative geographically based HR professional services, focused on providing HR services , coaching and guidance to managers and employees ensuring alignment with corporate policies, processes, goals, and objectives. 
  • Implements organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies.  
  • Acts as a liaison between assigned business unit and the corporate HR department, including Site/Country/Region HR, Employee Relations, Process Optimization, Rotation Associates, etc.  
  • As head of the HR Shared Services function, the HR Country Manager has the full responsibility for HR management & payroll, with particular focus on recruitment, retention, development, and training, development and implementation of TE HR policies, systems and procedures, and industrial relations.  
  • Identify and implement effective strategies regarding HR issues which affect the efficient operations for all Business Units within TE in Hungary.  
  • Implement employee training, development, performance management processes and leadership/succession planning programs.  
  • Direct functions in a variety of Human Resources activities including employee relations, recruiting, termination,  data analysis/metrics.  
  • Direct the compensation and benefits programs for Business Unit divisions to include pay adjustments, incentive and bonus programs 
  • Coordinate and implement a safety philosophy ensuring government and corporate compliance.   
  • Investigates and evaluates union complaints or disputes to determine viability.  
  • Consolidate all payroll & HR functions to ensure effective delivery of services to all businesses. 
  • Ensures compliance of TE’s practices with applicable labor legislation. Provides advice to managers and ensures uniform interpretation of Labor laws.  
  • Drive strategic initiatives of the site with a primary focus on annual compensation reviews, succession planning, strategic workforce planning, training & Development, Cultural and Engagement.  
  • Plan and strengthen the Strategic workforce capabilities through systematic approach and talent forecasting and planning tools while also building flexibility and agility considering cyclical nature of our business. 
  • Drive Culture and engagement initiatives.  

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; HR related major preferred 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a HR Managerial Position within the Automotive industry.  
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization. 
  • Must have at least 8 years’ experience working in a HR generalist or HRBP Role. 
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with the leadership team and driving and developing HR strategies addressing varying business unit needs.
  • Experience supporting transformation and change projects. 
  • Must have Fluent English and Hungarian.  
  • Must be business focused with a strong business acumen.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage complex situations.  
  • Demonstrated experience adapting to change and driving strategic solutions. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.  
  • Substantial knowledge of local employment laws and practices.
