Environmental Health&Safety Analyst (EHS)
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Performing occupational health and safety risk assessments on dedicated departments, participation in planning and implementing risk mitigation measures
- Participation in EHS inspections and incident investigations, checking obligatory Health and Safety items
- Active support of EH&S management systems according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Facilitate EHS trainings regularly (rotation with other EHS colleagues)
- Evaluation of changes in the layout plans, machinery and manufacturing processes and technologies
- Taking part in internal and external audits, as well as regulatory inspections (Including inspection of EHS-related contractors working onsite)
- Cooperation with regional subject matter experts and managers
- Participation in the regional EHS audit program (less than 10% travel required)
Ideal Background
- Finished Occupational Health and Safety Technician or higher degree (degree in Environmental Engineering or Fire Protection Certificate is an advantage)
- Intermediate communication level in English
- At least 5 years of experience in EHS field in manufacturing company
- Confident user skills of MS Office
