Tactile & Multisensor Measurement

  • Develop tactile probing and scanning strategies.
  • Select suitable probes, styli, sensors, and measurement parameters.
  • Apply optical measurement methods where appropriate.
  • Combine tactile and optical measurement when technically beneficial.

WinWerth & ScopeCheck Implementation

  • Program and operate Werth systems using WinWerth.
  • Support commissioning, qualification and industrialization of the Werth ScopeCheck system at Esztergom.
  • Develop CAD-based and automated measurement programs.
  • Optimize programs for accuracy, repeatability, cycle time and maintainability.
  • Establish standardized programming practices for future ScopeCheck applications.

GD&T / ISO GPS

  • Interpret engineering drawings and product specifications according to GD&T and ISO GPS principles.
  • Translate datum structures and geometrical specifications into technically correct measurement methods.
  • Evaluate size, form, orientation, location, profile and runout characteristics.
  • Understand the effect of extraction, association and evaluation methods on reported results.
  • Support engineering and quality teams in dimensional measurement and specification-related questions.

Measurement Validation

  • Validate new and transferred measurement programs before release.
  • Perform repeatability, reproducibility, correlation and measurement-system studies as applicable.
  • Support GR&R, MSA and measurement-process capability evaluations.
  • Correlate ScopeCheck results with existing CMMs or established measurement methods.
  • Investigate measurement discrepancies between machines, programs, sites or technologies.
  • Identify variation caused by machine, sensor, fixture, operator, environment or measurement strategy.

Standardization & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop programming standards, templates, probe libraries, and work instructions.
  • Standardize program creation, validation, release, and revision.
  • Improve measurement cycle time while maintaining required accuracy.
  • Support automated reporting and digital measurement processes.

Ideal Candidate

  • Active English language verbally and in written form as well
  • Strong proactive attitude and dedication to this specific technical field and interesting in learning more about this domain depending on already acquired experience.
  • Practical expertise in CNC CMM programming and dimensional measurement.
  • Strong tactile measurement knowledge (probe selection, stylus configuration, qualification, probing strategy and scanning)
  • Ability to independently develop a complete measurement strategy from engineering drawing or CAD model.
  • Strong GD&T and ISO GPS knowledge, including datum systems, form, orientation, location, profile and runout requirements.
  • Understanding of coordinate systems, alignments, local coordinate systems and feature constructions.
  • Practical understanding of extraction, association and evaluation methods and their influence on measurement results.
  • Experience validating measurement programs through correlation, repeatability, reproducibility, MSA or comparable measurement-process validation methods.
  • Understanding of fixture repeatability, component distortion, temperature, cleanliness, surface condition and other influences on dimensional measurement.
  • Mobility and willingness to travel for technical training, workshops and collaboration within EMIA on a few occasions.
