Reporting to the Regional ER Leader, this role will lead fair and thorough workplace investigations, deliver ER training, and offer advice across all business areas. The position involves collaborating with people at all levels and functions including Legal, HR, and Operations and offers flexible location options in countries where TE has a significant operational presence.

Your main tasks:

  • Partner with the Regional Leader of Employee Relations to conduct fair, impartial, and independent investigations into workplace or ER issues raised through the Office of the Ombudsman or other channels.
  • Complete assigned investigations objectively, thoroughly, and on time, in compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Help develop and maintain investigation procedures that ensure all findings and conclusions are evidence-based.
  • Collaborate with Labor & Employment and Ethics & Compliance teams to promote awareness and understanding of TE’s values, employee relations laws, and policies through coaching, presentations, and training.
  • Work with management and HR partners to review findings, determine corrective actions (including disciplinary measures), and identify opportunities for continuous improvement ensuring all actions are fair and consistent.
  • Support Labor & Employment counsel in managing employment claims as needed.

Your ideal background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Legal Studies, or a related field (company knowledge a plus).
  • 5+ years’ experience in ER investigations, labor/employment relations or law, with solid knowledge of related regulations and practices.
  • Strong intercultural awareness and ability to work effectively in a global, diverse environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional major languages preferred.
  • Skilled in interviewing, with excellent written, verbal, and analytical abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion while modeling TE values.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills, proactive mindset with a strong work ethic , and ability to work independently in fast-paced, complex settings
  • Willingness to travel 5–20%
