Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Facilities Teams manage and maintain the organization’s physical infrastructure to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. The Facilities Supervisor II is responsible for supervising day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, building systems, security processes, and facility improvement projects. This role leads a team, manages vendors, and partners cross-functionally to ensure business continuity and compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Job Requirements
Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure) to ensure reliable performance.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Ensure compliance with EH&S standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of facilities and maintenance personnel.
- Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure completion of maintenance activities and work orders.
- Support training and development to build technical capability and maintain a high-performing team.
Facility Projects & Improvements
- Support and lead facility-related projects such as renovations, space reconfigurations, equipment installations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and external partners to execute projects aligned with site and business priorities.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize facility performance.
Building Security & Access Control
- Oversee building security systems, including badge access, visitor management, and coordination with security providers.
- Ensure appropriate physical security measures are maintained to safeguard employees, assets, and facilities.
- Support emergency preparedness, incident response, and site security protocols in collaboration with EH&S and site leadership.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Manage service providers (e.g., janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, and security vendors).
- Ensure service quality, contract compliance, and safe execution of work.
- Control costs and support budget adherence.
Operational & Financial Support
- Support facilities budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Track KPIs such as maintenance completion rates, downtime, and service performance.
- Partner with operations leadership to align facilities support with production needs and business goals.
What your background should look like
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and facility operations.
- Experience leading teams and managing vendors in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of facility projects, space planning, and infrastructure improvements.
- Familiarity with building security systems and access control processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $76,800– $115,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
