Job Overview
We are seeking an operational Manufacturing Operations & Cost Analyst to join our plant Ops. team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between physical factory floor operations and financial performance. Acting as a critical financial and operational partner, you will track production metrics, maintain standard costing systems, and provide actionable variance analysis to drive plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Financial & Cost Accounting Control
· System Maintenance: Maintain operational accounting systems including General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payable tracking.
· Costing & BOM Analysis: Collaborate with Engineering and execution teams to analyze costing build-ups, Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy, and router efficiency.
· Variance Analysis: Perform detailed variance analysis on Labor, Materials, Overtime (OT), and general operating expenses (Actuals vs. Standards).
· Billing & Portals: Process daily billings/invoicing, post credit card payments, and upload government-related invoices into specialized portals (Exostar, WAFF).
· Month-End & Fixed Assets: Support month-end closing by preparing journal entries, reconciling ledger accounts, allocating costs, and validating Fixed Asset capitalizations.
Plant Floor Operations & Data Analytics
· Data Collection: Gather daily production metrics, yield rates, machine downtime, and scrap rates directly from the factory floor.
· Labor Reconciliation: Prepare daily/weekly labor reconciliations. Partner with plant supervisors to correct labor logs and ensure ERP system accuracy.
· Dashboards & Reporting: Maintain and update operational performance trackers and BI dashboards (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) for plant leadership.
· System Integration: Validate interface data between the factory legacy system (Macola) and corporate SAP, actively troubleshooting data errors.
· Continuous Improvement: Identify workflow bottlenecks and potential cost-saving areas to support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance.
· Education: College degree or above, majoring in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
· Experience: Proven professional experience working directly within a manufacturing environment with a focus on cost accounting or operations analytics.
· Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex data formulas) is an absolute must.
· Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative mind capable of translating complex factory floor metrics into clear financial updates.
· Core Values: Demonstrates a problem-solving mindset with a strict adherence to Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, and Innovation.
· Communication: Fluent English with excellent attention to detail and the communication skills required to resolve issues with Customer Service, Shared Services, and plant personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
· ERP Systems: Hands-on experience with SAP and Macola ERP systems is highly beneficial.
· Specialized Accounting: Prior experience with US Government accounting procedures and portals.
· Operational Frameworks: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $60,000 – $65,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
