Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Teams develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for strategic planning and control. They conduct technical and financial analysis to assess current and forecasted business performance. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing and summarizing strategic insights, and supporting planning around acquisitions, operational forecasts, and long-term business requirements.
FP&A teams are also engaged in economic research across a wide range of areas, including rates of return, depreciation, working capital needs, investment evaluations, and regulatory impact analysis.
The FP&A Analyst III will play a critical role in analyzing financial performance by collecting, monitoring, and interpreting key data, and making actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes. This role is key in supporting the Site Controller to enhance operational processes, strengthen internal controls, and lead ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
• Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Conduct daily and weekly reconciliations between Global Shop Solutions (GSS) ERP system and SAP, focusing on revenue, inventory, and GR/IR.
• Perform detailed monthly variance analysis to support management decisions.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
• Assist the Controller in the preparation of plant budgets and forecasts and analyze actual performance against these benchmarks.
• Support long-range financial planning and scenario modeling.
• Evaluate standard costing and contribute to its continuous improvement.
Business & Process Improvement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess financial performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Support process documentation initiatives and identify strengths and weaknesses in internal controls.
• Contribute to cost analysis, margin reviews, and operational performance monitoring.
Digital Finance & Reporting
• Prepare management reporting packages with actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs using Power BI.
• Support digital finance transformation initiatives with a focus on data accuracy and process automation.
• Familiarity with Python or other analytical tools is a plus.
Cross-functional Support
• Collaborate with Shared Services Finance teams, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Demonstrate solid understanding of GAAP and internal control principles.
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 8-10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A, with progressive experience in financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP R/3 preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (including PivotTables, Lookups, and Query); working knowledge of Power BI and exposure to Python is a plus.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with standard costing-based environments is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., supply chain, production, quality) and stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with costing, pricing, accounts receivable, and budgeting processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to encourage the exchange of information across departments.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Must be proficient in the English language

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $97,300 – $146,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
