Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Customer Service Teams interact with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions. They take and process transactions via phone, internet and correspondence from customers and representatives and respond to inquiries about TE’s products or services. They may promote and sell our company's products or services as well as investigate and resolve customer complaints. A key area of focus is to develop strong business relationships via TE's Extraordinary Customer Experience strategy.


This role is a temporary 6-12 month contract role.    $20/hr & 40 hour work week. 


Duties include:

•    Interact with customers via phone and email to facilitate various requests; quotes, order status, order processing, RMA requests, and more. 
•    Respond to questions regarding TE product options and proper connector applications as applicable.
•    Research and calculate product pricing and delivery time per customer’s inquiries.
•    Prepare quotes/proposals and deliver to customer via email. 
•    Receive, perform contract review verifying information, and accurately enter Purchase Orders. 
•    Interact with Engineering, Supply Chain, Outside Sales, Shipping, and Technical Quotes on a daily basis.  
•    Be cognizant of Company’s ISO 9001-2015 QMS policy and procedures; their relevance and importance in daily activities and strive to continually contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.
•    Perform other duties, as assigned by management.

What your background should look like:

•    High School graduate or equivalent required.
•    Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
•    Minimum two (2) years related Customer Service experience with a basic working knowledge of connecting systems desirable.
•    Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
•    Ability to calculate any product discounts
•    Ability to read drawings and blueprints a plus.
•    Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
•    Ability to operate office equipment, computers, printers, scanners, fax, copiers, etc.
•    Must be a self-starter
•    Must be a team player
•    Must be organized and detail oriented
•    Experience with ERP systems is a plus
•    Flexibility to work extended hours, when needed.

This is an ITAR sensitive facility. Consequently, only U.S. Persons are eligible.
