Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking a Finance Director – Connected Living Solutions (CLS) Global Operations to partner closely with our Global Operations VP and senior leadership team. This role plays a critical part in driving operational performance, strengthening financial insight, and enabling strategic decision‑making across a global manufacturing footprint.

As Finance Director, you will lead financial planning, analysis, compliance, and resource management while developing and inspiring a global finance team. You will operate at the intersection of finance and operations, helping shape strategy, improve productivity, and support long‑term growth.

Job Requirements

  • Partner with the Connected Living Solutions Operations team to enhance productivity and mitigate inventory risks.
  • Consolidate, review, and analyze operational financial results, providing insights and corrective recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate on footprint migration, consolidation, and expansion to optimize manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.
  • Lead the strategic plan, annual budget process, and re-cost cycles, ensuring alignment with long-term growth objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance with global standards, including US GAAP, PRC GAAP, Mexico GAAP, and SOX.
  • Drive improvements in digital finance systems across the global operations organization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 20+ finance professionals globally, fostering talent development and high-performance culture.

What your background should look like

Experience

  • Extensive experience in multinational organisations, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Several years of experience in operational or manufacturing finance, including leadership responsibility
  • Experience partnering with senior operations leaders across regions and cultures

Technical & Professional Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting
  • Deep understanding of operational and financial drivers within manufacturing and supply chain environments
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP; exposure to PRC GAAP, Mexico GAAP, and SOX is an advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $165k-$220k (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
