At TE Connectivity, we’re helping build a safer, smarter, and more connected world. We are looking for a Finance Director – Global Operations to join our Connected Living Solutions (CLS) Business Unit and partner closely with our Global Operations VP and senior leadership team.

 

This is a strategic, high-impact role at the heart of our global manufacturing network. You will shape operational performance, strengthen financial insight, and enable data-driven decisions that support growth and transformation.

 

What you'll be doing

As a trusted business partner to our Operations leadership, you will:

    • Drive performance and insight
      Analyse and consolidate global operational financial results, delivering clear insights and actionable recommendations.
    • Partner for productivity
      Work closely with operations teams to improve efficiency, optimise cost structures, and mitigate inventory risk.
    • Enable strategic transformation
      Support footprint migration, consolidation, and expansion initiatives across our global manufacturing and supply chain network.
    • Lead planning cycles
      Own the strategic plan, annual budget process, and re-costing cycles, aligning financial plans to long-term business goals.
    • Champion compliance and governance
      Ensure adherence to global financial standards (including US GAAP and SOX), while maintaining strong controls across regions.
    • Advance digital finance
      Drive improvements in finance systems and processes, helping modernise our global operations organisation.
    • Develop and inspire
      Lead, coach, and grow a diverse global team of 20+ finance professionals, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.

What your background should look like

Experience

  • Extensive experience in multinational organisations, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Several years of experience in operational or manufacturing finance, including leadership responsibility
  • Experience partnering with senior operations leaders across regions and cultures

Technical & Professional Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting
  • Deep understanding of operational and financial drivers within manufacturing and supply chain environments
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP; exposure to PRC GAAP, Mexico GAAP, and SOX is an advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $165k-$220k (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
