Job Overview

TE's Payroll teams prepare, document and disburse payroll checks, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments. They evaluate current systems, and recommend and develop operating efficiency improvements. They also serve as liaison to employees and third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies, monitor and ensure proper documentation of employee benefit payments and deductions and prepare reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including items such as tax payments and benefit plan disbursements.

The Payroll Analyst is a key player in the HR team and will provide centralized Payroll & HR support to the Netherlands HR team. The HR team in the Netherlands support the Netherlands and the countries in the EMEA region with less than 100 employees: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Nigeria, Norway, Saudi-Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, South-Africa, Sweden, Turkey, UAE and Ukraine.
Key areas of responsibility include the administration and processing of the End to End Payroll for the Netherlands, provide payroll support for the smaller headcount countries and the continuous improvement of processes.

This full-time position may suit an experienced payroll specialist looking to broaden their experience within both payroll and HR related topics. You will have the opportunity to work on several payroll & HR related projects within an international environment. It concerns a fast-paced position which requires a driven and result oriented person with strong attention to detail. You will work within an informal, enthusiastic and diverse team and have the opportunity to grow your experience in a fast-moving multinational organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monthly end to end payroll cycle for circa 310 employees based in the Netherlands: timely & accurate processing, calculations, reporting, distributions, and queries;
• Provide monthly support to internal/external payroll providers for all smaller headcount countries;
• Ensuring compliance with local, company and statutory regulations;
• Streamlining and continuous improvement of payroll processes;
• Provide audit support for all countries;
• Partnering closely with payroll providers and the HR team to ensure compliance practices;
• Actively participate in key projects in line with payroll & HR strategies;
• First point of contact for all external insurance, pension and broker vendors;
• Management of payroll vendors;
• Collection of annual merit review data for submission;
• Annual benefit uploads for all countries;
• Provide support in administrative HR tasks.

What your background should look like:

Professional Experience: 
• Professional working experience in end to end payroll processing for a medium-large company;
• Experience in applying payroll knowledge and best practice into business solutions;
• Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of payroll and tax legislation;
• Experience in a global (matrix) organization is preferred.
• Experience in working with (external) consulting partners;
• Proven experience in delivering process improvements.

Knowledge & Skills:
• Professional education in payroll such as PDL, VPS or similar;
• Domain experience in end to end payroll, including data management, metrics and measurement &
• Experience with information systems ADP and SAP (SuccessFactors) is a big plus;
• Result-orientated, strong priority-setting, pro-active;
• Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international (matrix) organisation;
• Proven success delivering an Extraordinary Customer Experience;
• Experience in working with consulting partners;
• Expert in Excel preferred and relevant experience with other MS Office (Word, Powerpoint) applications;
• Knowledge of core HR and payroll data elements;
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation & communication skills;
• Full working proficiency in Dutch and English.
