Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

What your background should look like:

PLANNING
•    Demand management and FCST accuracy analysis
•    Analyze each product's historical usage including quantity /frequency;analyze client forecast; verify data, understand reasons for differences in order to manage the demand."    
•    "Materials requirement planning(MRP) implementation
•    Implement Materials requirement planning for inter-company in order to meet the operation requirements."    
"ITO fulfillment
•    1:Control material inventory, especially for high value materials, such as PCBA and cable,
•    2:Material full kit driving 
•    3:Billing achievement
•    4.Demand drop highlight and drive to solve excess"    
"STR fulfillment and improvement
•    Pull in gating material and production arrangement per customer request 
•    Push engineering or quality issue solution to aviod delivery impact 
•    Keep good communication with DC and CCP for delivery commitment"    
"PDR management
•    1:Keep good communication with DC and CCP for delivery commitment
•    2:Optimize production arrangement to make sure prompt shipment requirement"    
"E2E LT improvement
•    1: With more effective strategy to improve supply status, then provide competitive lead time to end customer


BUYER
Order management
•    Based on customer orders, create Purchase Order;
•    Follow up order confirmation , on time delivery and the correct shipping method;
•    Escalate delivery issues to supervisor;
•    (IIII) Demand management, forecast;Material full kit on FO shortage report;
•    In order to provide on-time delivery to production.    
Inventory management
•    High value inventory consumption plan, analysis and scrap method. 
•    EM15/20 report, cancellation or reschedule in/out;
•    Lead the internal supplier materials to localization;
•    (IIII) Rebalance the inventory of the affiliated plants;
•    In order to achieve ITO target"    
Supplier Management
•    Review supplier performance (cost, delivery, quality) on a monthly basis;
•    Draft action plan according to suppliers' performance result;
•    Participate annual suppliers audit meeting;
•    (IIII)Working with sourcing team develop the supplier to set up consignment;
•    In order to improve supplier quality level."    
Others
•    Handling materials return and replacement;
•    Handling of vendor payment exceptions;
