【Job description】
Strategy & Program Development
Execution of TE’s overall EHS strategy will be through both individual and delegated tasks and programs within the organization.
• Develop, plan, implement and maintain an EHS management system for the organization that meets the TE Safety Assessment for Effectiveness (SAFE) requirements, implements TE environmental sustainability programs, ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, TE policies and TE specifications and provides for continuous improvement in EH&S performance.
• Ensure TE safety initiatives are deployed for the organization, including BBS, ergonomics programs, risk assessment, EHS training, machine guarding and employee engagement.
• Assess EHS risks and develop action plans for ensuring all significant risks are controlled and managed.
EHS Structure & Program Management
• Build action plans for the implementation of the organization’s EHS programs and take a leadership role in delivering the organization’s EHS goals and strategy.
• Deliver training programs to ensure all employees in support of achieving 100% engagement in EHS.
• Drive EHS initiatives to achieve the organization’s goals and strategy.
• Audit and evaluate the performance of the EHS management system.
• Implement monitoring procedures for changes in EHS legislation applicable to the organization and ensure the EHS management system is updated to ensure compliance.
Continuous Process Improvement
• Participate in EHS inspections and audits.
• Facilitate incident investigations and advise management on appropriate corrective actions.
• Participate in risk assessments, advising risk assessment teams on the assessment process.
• Report all EHS data required by applicable legal regulations and TE.
• Drive process improvements that result in EHS performance improvements
• Advise management on EHS matters and implementation of regulations and TE policies, programs and specifications.
• Support and guide employees to enable them to work safely, comply with regulations, TE policies and specifications and support environmental sustainability goals.
【Job Qualifications】
• Minimum 5+ years of EH&S experience required
• Minimum 1+ years of experience managing EH&S. Preferably at a site level.
• Experience in a technical, engineering or manufacturing role preferred
• Demonstrated communication, negotiation, influencing, collaboration and team building skills preferred
• Demonstrated ability in conducting audits and inspections of all aspects of EHS throughout a Site
