TE Connectivity is on a fast‑moving journey to embed AI and BI capabilities across the entire organization. We are looking for a Director, Head of AI & BI who will unify our strategy, champion an AI‑first culture, and lead the implementation of advanced capabilities such as GenAI, Agentic AI, and enterprise‑scale data science solutions.

 

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Data & AI (CDO), this leader will bring deep expertise, shape future capabilities, inspire teams across global regions, and translate technology into measurable business value. The successful candidate will have a strong track record delivering large-scale AI/ML programs within complex industries such as CPG, manufacturing, or healthcare.

 

The role partners closely with data science, data engineering, data architecture, IT teams, and senior business stakeholders to scale TE’s use of AI and BI technologies, optimize investments, and drive enterprise impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and define a unified roadmap for AI & BI across TE’s business units.
  • Shape, lead, and enable a cultural shift toward AI‑first product delivery.
  • Offer technical leadership across AI/ML and BI to build scalable, high‑impact capabilities.
  • Lead the development and scaling of integrated AI solutions that combine ML models, GenAI, and multi‑agent systems with BI products.
  • Define and implement strategies and roadmaps for data, AI, and BI products running on enterprise MLOps and DevSecOps frameworks.
  • Architect advanced data, analytics, and AI capabilities using modern cloud technologies.
  • Drive innovation, anticipate emerging trends, and convert insights into business value.
  • Build strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulating the value created through data and technology.

Skills, Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or similar is preferred.
  • Extensive IT experience specializing in Data Science & AI, Data Engineering, and BI.
  • Demonstrated success developing AI & BI strategies and influencing stakeholders across a global organization.
  • Proven experience leading and developing diverse, distributed teams and navigating complex organizational environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
  • Preferred experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, or Manufacturing domains.
  • Strong background taking AI & BI capabilities from pilot to enterprise‑grade delivery using MLOps and DevSecOps.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud-based data, analytics, and AI technologies.
  • Expertise implementing AI/ML solutions, GenAI, and Agentic AI on Databricks and AWS; familiarity with Power BI Fabric is an advantage.
  • Agile and RVR practitioner with experience developing MVPs, evaluating scalability, and shaping future roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple high‑profile projects with changing priorities and demanding timelines.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $195,000 - $290,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
