Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as Director, OEM & Harness Makers Sales – EMEA. In this role, you will drive sustainable, profitable growth across key OEM and Harness Maker accounts by shaping and executing strategic account plans aligned with TE’s long-term strategy and product roadmap. You will act as a strategic partner to our customers and a key orchestrator internally, ensuring strong alignment across Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to deliver superior customer value and market leadership.

 

Strategic Growth & Account Leadership

  • Define and execute customer-specific strategic growth plans aligned with regional and global business objectives
  • Drive profitable revenue growth, market share expansion, and deeper account penetration across EMEA
  • Lead the development and execution of multi-year account and territory strategies for Key and Global customers

 

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Build and continuously evolve customer roadmaps, ensuring alignment with technology trends and TE’s product portfolio
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging threats
  • Maintain a strong understanding of PAM, SAM, TAM, and key market dynamics

 

Commercial Excellence & Negotiation

  • Lead global and annual negotiations (pricing, contracts, agreements) with customers at all organizational levels
  • Ensure strong governance across commercial processes, including pricing discipline and contract management
  • Drive forecast accuracy, pipeline discipline, and structured sales execution across the region

 

Voice of the Customer & Strategic Influence

  • Capture and translate the Voice of the Customer into actionable insights
  • Influence internal stakeholders to drive product innovation, portfolio positioning, and business direction
  • Position TE technologies to support long-term customer growth and differentiation

 

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Operations
  • Align internal stakeholders around growth priorities and execution plans
  • Act as a connector across functions to ensure successful program delivery from concept to completion

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers
  • Build high-performing teams focused on account strategy execution, customer intimacy, and commercial excellence
  • Elevate an already strong team to operate confidently at senior OEM and executive customer levels
  • Drive capability building, coaching, and leadership development to support long-term succession and growth

 

Operational & Financial Discipline

  • Ensure effective accounts receivable management, partnering with Finance and customers to resolve issues
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive accountability for financial and operational targets
  • Leverage data-driven insights and analytics to support decision-making and commercial performance improvement

What your background should look like:

This role demands strong leadership capability alongside a proven ability to drive sales execution, with demonstrated experience leading global teams in senior commercial environments.
  • 7+ years of sales management experience
  • Proven track record in senior sales leadership within OEM / automotive / industrial environments
  • Exposure across multiple stages of the sales lifecycle (sales, product, marketing, B2B environments)
  • Experience managing large-scale revenue portfolios (ideally €200M+)
  • Demonstrated leadership across EMEA or global markets
  • Strong experience in strategic account management and global negotiations
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrix organizations
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and technology evolution
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Passion for driving growth, building teams, and delivering customer value
