Product Pricing Manager (f/m/d)

Job Overview

The Subvertical Product Pricing Manager (f/m) is part of the Product Pricing Leadership Team and is accountable for managing the product pricing team for the assigned products of the Subvertical across all sales channels. Moreover, the manager collaborates with the Business Leadership Teams to establish product pricing strategies that generate profitable and sustainable business growth, e. g. via improvements on price, margin, volumes and Extraordinary Customer Experience (ECE).


Tasks and responsibilities:
•    Develop and drive execution of Vision & Strategy on Product Pricing for assigned products to improve price, margin, volumes and ECE. 
•    Is accountable and oversees all strategical and tactical task within Product Pricing team of the respective Subvertical, including but not limited to, measurement of Win Rate on special pricing request for Channel, processing price requests for Channel, compliance with pricing policies and processes for special pricing for Channel, maintaining logical and effective book pricing in line with the PM GTM-strategy (PPCA), updating the strategy validation in APEX for the assigned products portfolio, improving product portfolio health, improve the quality & availability of Sales Empowerment Guidelines, pricing recommendation for channel/EMS customer agreements, and conduction of agreement performance analysis, maintaining TE.Com Store Pricing, setting value propositions with PM, and making sure product strategy is followed in daily price decisions (e.g. maintain GPMS Comments)
•    Accountable for Center of Excellence (CoE) activities on data provision and data accuracy for the Industrial non-direct Pricing Teams 
•    Closely collaborate with Channel organization to drive key business initiatives and opportunities 
•    Participate in regular PLP business reviews (MBR) of financial performance and provide pricing insights and information on the pricing metrics as requested
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, Supply Chain, Marketing, Channel, Finance & Sales) to develop pricing recommendations (opportunities & risks) for key business initiatives for Channel
•    Drive competitive analytics to understand market dynamics and include in decision making for pricing decisions and initiatives
•    Manage and own book prices globally and execute book price cycles (timing, focus areas and execution) 
•    Develop and maintain the annual price erosion budget for Channel
•    Drive continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) on the quality, efficiency/automation and effectiveness of the overarching BU Industrial pricing processes to support the execution of the respective pricing strategies and initiatives of the Subvertical 
•    Participate in alignment calls between Industrial Pricing Managers & Finance leaders to prepare report out (including monthly Price Variance Reporting & Analysis)

What your background should look like:

•    Minimum Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics)
•    8 years+ experience in Pricing or Commercial Roles, preferably in an international environment
•    People management skills in direct line or project environment
•    Customer focus, solid business acumen and commercial mindset
•    Excellent analytical skills and strong statistical capabilities
•    Ability to perform in an operational environment with clear deadlines and challenging targets
•    Exceptional organization, priority setting and communication skills 
•    High accuracy and detail oriented
•    Problem solving mentality and strong organizational skills for managing and coordinating a variety of tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
•    Self-motivated and ability to work on an independent basis
•    Excellent teamwork skills and cultural sensitivity 
•    Fluent in English both written and spoken
•    Strong PC capabilities (MS Office, Spreadsheets, Databases)
•    Experience with SAP (SD module), Advanced Pricing Software, and Green belt certification are a plus
