Job Overview

The Demand and Supply Analyst’s objective is to ensure that the necessary capacity and materials are available at the moment they are required by the customer, while remaining aligned with applicable company policies.
 

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor the flow of consumable materials, preventing excess or shortages of inventory (balancing supply and demand), as well as improving response times for materials classified as “Make to Order.”

  2. Maintain close communication with Customers and Sales to understand product and project needs, stay informed about market conditions, and ensure on-time, in-full customer service performance.

  3. Review forecasts and manage change control.

  4. Prioritize supply issues and define alternative action plans.

  5. Ensure timely introduction of new products (define supply and inventory plans).

  6. Review various reports to support optimal decision-making regarding customer requirements, ensuring timely supply while minimizing costs to positively impact the company’s financial performance.

  7. Maintain constant communication with suppliers to receive shipping notifications and required documentation on time, ensuring efficient export/import processes.

  8. Confirm and reconfirm customer orders within 48 hours according to classification (DPC MTO / MTS 1 / MTS 5) and based on customer-requested changes to meet their requirements on time.

Job Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Relations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Candidates in the final stages of their degree may also be considered, with at least 6 months of experience in a similar role.

    Professional Experience:
    Experience in database management, supply chain (operations and inventory), and material planning (minimum 6 months -1 year).

    Specific Knowledge:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AS400 in a BPICS environment or similar systems.

    Skills:
    Negotiation, analytical thinking, customer-oriented mindset, teamwork, ability to work under pressure, and strong decision-making skills.

    Key Behaviors / Additional Requirements:
    Knowledge of statistics and forecasting, material planning, and supply models.
