Junior Team Leader Indirect Taxes (EMEA)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead a Team of 5 people working in VAT, ESL, Intrastat, and manage monthly VAT accounts reconciliations
•    Perform E2E tasks in the scope of Indirect Tax & Compliance reporting in the EMEA region
•    Support implementation of standard processes and procedures
•    Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes
•    Build strong relationship within the Team and relevant stakeholders from other FSC Teams (R2R, O2C and S2P)

What your background should look like:

•   Strong motivation to continue developing within Indirect Taxes
•   Minimum 3 years of experience in European Indirect Tax Compliance, ideally gained in a large multinational organisation
•   Demonstrated experience working independently, prioritizing tasks
•   Ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Support the Indirect Tax Manager in reviews and managing tasks
•   Excellent analytical skills with very good Excel and SAP skills
•   High level of confidence, team spirit, integrity and motivation
•   Fluency in English. Another European language is a plus
•   Previous experience on a supervising position is a plus
