Role Overview

 

The Senior Manager of Strategy & M&A will help shape and deliver the Energy BU’s growth agenda, driving both organic and inorganic opportunities. You will assess markets, define execution plans, and lead strategic projects, while building and managing a strong M&A pipeline from target identification to transaction execution.

 

Key Responsibilitie

 

  • Identify high-potential market opportunities (“where to play”) and define execution paths (“how to win”).

  • Lead cross-functional teams in strategy definition, alignment, and implementation.

  • Track progress on strategic initiatives and ensure delivery of revenue and margin goals.

  • Build and manage the BU’s M&A pipeline; evaluate targets, lead due diligence, and coordinate transactions.

  • Maintain market models, competitive intelligence, and industry insights.

  • Mentor junior team members and strengthen strategic capabilities across the BU.

Your ideal background

  • Strong background in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking.

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects; energy sector experience a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across cultures.

  • MBA or Master’s preferred, but not required.
