Job Overview

 

TE's HR Services teams provide direct support to employees, other HR groups and management as part of a centralized function to handle a variety of HR-related transactions. They receive and respond to requests concerning HR policies/programs, appropriately routes requests from employees to others for additional information and may respond to practices inquiries via online resources and/or telephone. The team also processes various paper and electronic forms related to documenting HR activities such as new-hire onboarding, change-of-status, benefits, termination of employment, etc. 

 

HR SERVICES REGIONAL LEAD – EMEA HR SERVICE CENTRE

Job Overview


TE Connectivity has recently established their EMEA HR Service Centre in Cork, Ireland. As our team in Cork continues to expand, we are now seeking a HR Services Regional Lead for the EMEA HR Service Centre. The Regional Lead is responsible for expanding and managing the EMEA HR Shared Service Centre to provide high quality HR transactional and support services to our managers & employees in the region (approx. 28,000 employees). They will execute the strategy for the service centre while managing operational cost and efficiencies. Current team is made up of 23 employees including 3 team leads.


This is a full time, permanent position with great benefits and would be ideal for a candidate with senior managerial experience in HR and is looking to further their career in a global multinational company at a regional level.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage team leaders whose teams are responsible for the execution of all employee HR transactions and telephone support queries within defined service level agreements
  • Continue to build the team to establish support for additional countries in the region
  • Partner closely with the business HR leaders in the EMEA countries being supported to enable a ‘One HR’ experience for our employees and managers
  • Collaborate with other HR Services regional leads globally to ensure consistency of processes and employee experience
  • Prepare and manage budget for the team
  • Drive HR Services contribution to global key HR initiatives throughout the year, constantly seeking new and innovative ways to enhance the service offering
  • Accountable for ensuring all HR transactions, data, and services are timely, accurate, and compliant with TE and regulatory requirements.
  • Empower the team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

 

 

What we look for:

 

 

  • Educated to degree level with emphasis in HR or Business or other related discipline.
  • 10+ years progressive HR experience including managerial experience ideally in a HR call/service centre environment.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead a team and empower them to be successful.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Develops talent, promotes collaboration, establishes relationships both in the region and globally
  • Experience of working with HR related technologies such as Success Factors, SAP, Workday, ticket management systems etc.
  • Strong professional and HR operational knowledge.
  • Strong team player with a passion for working in a fast-paced international HR team.
  • Excellent communication skills - communicates with impact, motivates others, builds support, establishes trust.
  • Delivers results: meets customer needs, manages execution, shows drive and initiative in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
