Why you should join:

Reporting to Director of Global Continuous Improvement, the TEOA Global Manager will provide overall support for updating/ creating standards within the deployment and achievement of TEOA goals across all locations of the Sensors BU.  This position is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of TE Operating Advantage, allowing and enabling the business to achieve Hoshin goals and meet business objectives.

Your main tasks:

Support the TEOA attainment plan for the Sensor BU, including specific tools, metrics, star-level targets, key KPIs, and supporting actions required to achieve TEOA goals.

Deliver training, coaching and counsel to all applicable sites and functions on TEOA tools deployment.

Personally conduct transformation and other smaller productivity workshops to help the sites / functions learn and achieve improvement. Develop annual goal and achieve such as to the number of workshops to be accomplished by each region.

Serve as the facilitator, gatherer, and scorekeeper of Sensors Operations KPIs. Revise and enhance existing KPI templates as necessary. Ensure timely reporting of such KPIs.

Foster an environment of open collaboration with all sites in the region to advance TEOA and Operations performance improvement. Actively and openly provide feedback (including constructive push-back) on Operations functional direction and action plans.

Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Leadership

• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives for Manufacturing Engineering.
• Define and deploy Lean Manufacturing standards, methodologies and best practices.
• Drive the implementation and sustainability of Standard Work systems across plants.
• Guide productivity improvement programs focused on labor efficiency, waste reduction, flexibility and flow.
• Support deployment of TEOA and Smart Factory initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Labor & Manufacturing Efficiency

• Own the Labor & Manufacturing Efficiency pillar strategy for EMIA.
• Develop and deploy labor productivity systems, including Standard Work, DLE (Direct Labor Efficiency) and DLPI methodologies.
• Establish targets, governance processes and performance reviews for labor efficiency.
• Support plants in identifying and executing productivity opportunities.
• Provide coaching on labor cost optimization through Lean principles rather than headcount-driven approaches.

Capability Building & Organization Development

• Design and deliver Lean Manufacturing and Standard Work training programs.
• Develop internal Lean capability within Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams.
• Establish and lead the EMIA Lean Referent Network.
• Coach engineers, plant leaders and CI practitioners on Lean deployment.
• Develop train-the-trainer programs and regional capability roadmaps.

Productivity Systems & Operational Excellence

• Lead deployment of productivity tools including:
• Standard Work
• QCO / SMED
• TPM
• Labor Efficiency
• Value Stream Design
• Layout for Flow
• TEPO
• Lean Automation Concepts
• Facilitate productivity workshops to improve manufacturing performance.
• Support implementation of best-practice manufacturing concepts across EMIA plants.

• Experience in design engineering and the product development stage gate process
• Proficiency in standard reporting/presentation and data analysis tools
• Experience in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
• Languages: fluent English. Spanish and/or German is an advantage
