Job Overview

The Global Sr Manager Continuous Improvement (TEOA) is responsible for ongoing advancement of TE’s Business excellence system, TEOA (TE Operating Advantage)  across the PTS Business Unit in transforming and building the strong foundation The Cross-Functional Continuous Improvement Manager will lead, facilitate, and execute strategic improvements across the entire value chain—from sales forecasting and order management to supply chain logistics and manufacturing execution. This role is responsible for eliminating transactional and physical waste, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, improving customer satisfaction, and delivering measurable cost savings.  The CI leader will partner with stakeholders in  PTS Business Unit to deliver breakthrough performance and build capabilities that will allow the business to become increasingly self-sufficient and create lean value streams.  The Global CI leader will leverage expertise within the broader TE and ACL sector teams to tackle difficult transformational challenges and collaborate to share best practices and develop talent.  As a member of PTS BU leadership team in collaboration with TE’s Global Continuous Improvement Team, the TEOA BU leader will work across functions (ex. Product management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales) to help solve important operations, supply chain and commercial challenges.  An individual who is successful in this role will be positioned to move into a broader leadership position across TE.  

Your Main Tasks

  • Drive the TEOA Business system across the PTS Business unit to truly “Drive TEOA Mindset in Everything We Do” 
  • Partner and Collaborate with the functional leaders of the BU across Product management, Supply Chain, Engineering on helping develop and implement process transformation plans and be able to develop best in class examples with full documentation / playbook.  Leverage extended TEOA network to provide expertise to solve difficult transformation challenges.  
  • Monitor functional l TEOA maturity and transformation results and provide visibility to drive engagement of leadership and Create momentum to deliver results through TEOA 
  • Collaborate with Sector and Corporate TEOA teams to develop and deliver training curriculum and supporting materials for BU skills development 
  • Support BU to optimize plans for any new M& A integration and drive CI for the acquired business to bring to TE standards  
  • End-to-End Value Stream Mapping: Map, analyze, and optimize the entire process from order intake to shipment to identify bottlenecks and reduce lead times between commercial, supply chain, and plant operations. 
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional Kaizen events and Lean Six Sigma projects with marketing, sales, procurement, and operations teams to align demand with production capability. 
  • Waste Elimination: Drive improvements to reduce non-value-added activities, such as excessive inventory, slow replenishment, production downtime, and order processing errors. 
  • KPI Development & Analysis: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Price realization, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, on-time delivery (OTD), and overall sales to order effectiveness. 

Your Ideal Background

  • 10+ years of broad manufacturing/quality/continuous improvement management experience in a best-in-class global manufacturing environment with a strong preference for supply chain and plant management experience 

  • Demonstrated ability to solve strategic problems that expand beyond operations (market differentiators, customer needs, commercial terms, logistics network, etc.) 

  • Strong experience with lean management systems and transformational tools 

  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to understand the commercial, operational, and financial priorities of the business and align initiatives on the areas of highest impact. 

  • Effective communication skills to translate strategy to action for broad employee groups within the business and across the enterprise. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA/MS degree desired

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $151,200 – $180,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
