Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to ensure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

This is a fully remote position, the ideal candidate will be located within 2 hours of our Ashville, North Carolina locations.

Job Requirements

  • Oversee all Project Management aspects from start to finish. 
  • Lead Risk Assessment activities and manage Risk Management. 
  • Collaborate with the Business Office to develop the Project Business Case. 
  • Define necessary requirements for product development. 
  • Report project status and ensure progress aligns with the plan. 
  • Escalate issues as needed and manage project change controls. 
  • Coordinate with global teams in engineering and manufacturing within a regulated environment. 
  • Manage and be accountable for project budgets, ensuring timely procurement of goods. 
  • Maintain global liaisons with customers and suppliers. 

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, supply chain management, operations, business, or another related field
  • 3+ years of related experience in project management, operations, continuous improvement, or another related area.
  • Proven success in delivering customer-facing product development projects. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, fostering strong relationships internally and externally. 
  • Technical or commercial background in engineering manufacturing a plus. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset and prior experience implementing best practices.
  • Experience leveraging standard playbooks and project excellence methodologies
  • Ability to take ownership and drive decisions independently. 
  • Strategic thinker capable of executing priorities effectively. 
  • Self-motivated and results-driven in demanding environments. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at all levels. 
  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding. 
  • Organized with proficient time management and administrative skills. 
  • Experience in Planisware preferred, familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management tools. 
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel. 
  • Willingness to work towards becoming PMP certified

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $87,600 - $131,800  (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
