Job Overview

NOTE: This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the USA.

TE Connectivity has recently acquired three companies focused on IVD microfluidic product development, usability testing, clinical research, and manufacturing. The vision for TE’s IVD business is to become an “end to end” partner of choice to life science OEMs for the design, clinical validation and manufacturing of microfluidic devices, enabling rapid diagnosis and novel treatments resulting in healthier lives. 
The acquired companies form the basis of a new growth platform for TE’s medical business and is run as a “business within a business.” To support the integration, development and growth of the IVD platform, the marketing manager will bring structure and strategy to the digital marketing, communications and brand experience for the IVD business. He/she will drive a fully integrated and cohesive approach for all marketing activities across target audiences while tailoring strategies, tactics and execution to achieve ambitious growth outcomes.  The marketing manager will serve as a strategic partner to the IVD business leadership team in close collaboration with the marketing team for TE’s broader medical business. His/her initial focus will be on consolidating the value proposition for the IVD business, building an impactful digital go to market strategy and thereafter integrating the growing IVD portfolio into TE Connectivity.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to devise a successful strategy and drive execution. The Marketing Manager will report to the Commercial Leader for the IVD portfolio with matrixed (dotted line) reporting to the Marketing Leader for TE Connectivity’s medical business.

Primary Responsibilities
•    Articulate a clear and compelling positioning and value proposition for the IVD business, derived from a data-driven understanding of customer segments and buyer personas. 
•    Lead the strategic development, implementation, and evolution of the brand and digital marketing strategy to increase visibility, awareness, engagement, conversion and loyalty across focus segments and the business as a whole.
•    Develop, implement and manage the digital marketing strategy for the business, encompassing all relevant channels, including web (site content, UX), search (SEO, SEM), social media, inbound/outbound (including native advertising, affiliate programming, marketing automation and events), email and e-commerce.
•    Proactively shape integrated marketing plans, campaigns and programming and end-to-end multi-channel content experiences that accomplish the goals of the business and segment strategies; oversees development and management of the lead funnel to produce desired outcomes and deliver on KPIs.
•    Generate broad and targeted awareness of the IVD portfolio, products, services and value proposition among key stakeholders, customers / OEMs and prospects, partners, media, influencers, employees and the community.
•    Drive the development of KPIs and scorecard reporting processes to demonstrate progress against goals; forecasts, tracks, and analyzes marketing initiatives to ensure delivery on performance targets and a focus on continuous improvement. Optimize use of existing CRM, analytics and marketing automation tools.
•    Act as the primary visionary and liaison for brand development strategy, overseeing the brand experience and building from acquired entity individual branding to a cohesive TE Connectivity brand along a multi-year roadmap.

Experience/ Qualifications

Skills & Experience
•    5+ years of brand and integrated / digital marketing leadership, in a B2B environment for technically orientated products, ideally with experience in the life sciences or medical device industries. Diagnostics or microfluidics sectoral experience a distinct advantage.
•    Bachelor’s degree or higher, marketing, or communications; global experience a strong preference.
•    Proven experience in brand development and evolution - creating, launching, and/or revamping a brand with meaningful outcomes.
•    Expert in understanding value chain structures, associated customer / prospect / influencers, buyer / prospect personas and the buying (decision) journey.
•    Adept with a wide range of modern marketing strategies - content, social, experiential – and the channels and tactics that can be deployed in integrated / digital marketing programs to achieve desired outcomes and measurable goals.
•    Analytical and results-driven; proven track record of measuring outcomes, tracking trends/results and ROI, and focusing only on KPIs that drive lead and revenue growth.
•    Experience using CRM, marketing automation, analytics and SEO tools such as Salesforce, Eloqua, Google Analytics and SEMrush. 
•    Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast past environment and as a thought leader
•    Superior verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort synthesizing ideas, articulating insights to senior management, influencing others, driving actions, and interpreting results.
•    Capable of managing multiple complex programs simultaneously and delivering on deadlines.
•    Experience managing outside freelance resources.
•    Ability to transcend organizational boundaries and ambiguous operating environments, navigating matrixed structures to identify and mobilize resources and drive collaboration that achieves strategic objectives

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $100K – $115K (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
