Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of assigned shift safety, uptime, quality, waste, rate, and cost performance of the team.  Responsible for leading and directing people to perform assigned job duties, adhere to basic expectations, and rigorous execution of JSAs, SOPS, and 5S.   This is a third shift Supervisory role. 


1.    Assist in the establishment and leadership of plant safety objectives.
2.    Ensure compliance to all safety policies and procedures.
3.    Maintain required internal certifications.  
4.    Lead, counsel, train and develop team members as appropriate.   
5.    Initiate and deliver any required disciplinary actions for team members.
6.    Conduct periodic performance reviews for team members.  
7.    Actively participate in team member employment decisions including hiring, promotions and terminations.  
8.    Track and manage attendance data for team members.  
9.    Responsible for individual and team compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
10.    Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, quality, high performance and process excellence.
11.    Establish team and individual accountabilities for problem solving and cost reduction.  
12.    Perform 5S, safety, process, and quality audits. 


What your background should look like:

1. High School Diploma required, Degree a plus.                    
2. Preferred certifications,  CPR/FA/ BBP Certification, internal job related certifications, OSHA 10 hour
3. 5+ years in a leadership position in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
4. Experience using MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
