Job Overview


TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.


Main Tasks & Responsibilitie :


Apply, maintain and improve a Quality Management System in line with the Plant Certifications :

  • Manage the local quality team and the local quality objectives
  • Assure the fulfilment of the ISO/TS 16949 process requirements with support of the process owner
  • Prepare quality reports and presentations on a regular base
  • Evaluate, control and improve Supplier’s processes and services


Strive for continuous improvement of processes for a better customer satisfaction :

  • Drive and control continuous improvement activities from Quality perspective
  • Support Lean-Initiatives both to optimize and standardize processes as well as to achieve defined targets
  • Ensure effective cross site and cross department communication
  • Coach, develop and train the team members, motivate staff members to meet the objectives and targets


Facilitate deployment of Quality objectives and strategies within the manufacturing location :

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations
  • Ensure to be in line with the TE strategy map and Quality Policy, and accordingly deploy the quality strategy for the Plant

What your background should look like:


Qualifications :

  • Engineer with university degree or technician with subject area: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or degree in Physics
  • 10+ years experience in various Quality and Operational assignments
  • At least 5 years of Managerial Experience
  • Experience in a multinational and automotive business is preferred


Key Requirements :

  • Specialized and profound knowledge in electronics, physics, mechanics and plastics
  • Statistical basic knowledge (Six Sigma, SPC etc.)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good English knowledge, verbal and in writing
  • Certified VDA 6.3 / 6.5 auditor
  • Certified 1st  / 2nd  party ISO/TS 16949 auditor
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Social skills
