The Role

As a Quality Manager you will manage the local Quality team and quality objectives. The Quality team are responsible for reviewing, analysing and reporting on quality discrepancies. Investigating problems and executing quality audits and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. You will mentor, coach, develop and train the team and motivate staff members to meet objectives and targets.


Driving and governing continuous improvement activities from a quality perspective. You will be required to successfully develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analysis. Applying, maintaining and improving a Quality Management System in line with the Plant Certifications.


As part of your responsibilities you will evaluate, control and improve Supplier’s processes and services. Delivering the fulfilment of the ISO/TS 16949 process requirements with support of the process owner. You shall ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations. As well as ensuring the alignment with the TE strategy map and Quality Policy, and accordingly deploy the quality strategy for the plant.


About you

The ideal candidate will hold a University degree in either Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics
Hold previous experience within a Manufacturing environment 
Must hold good English knowledge, verbal and written
10+ years’ experience in various Quality and Operational assignments
The ability to motivate others, build effective teams and hold at least 5 years of Managerial Experience
Experience in a multinational and automotive business is preferred
Statistical basic knowledge (Six Sigma, SPC etc.)
Certified VDA 6.3 / 6.5 auditor
Certified 1st  / 2nd  party ISO/TS 16949 auditor
