Job Overview

The Key Account Manager has to manage and control all activities into and within a regional business for a specific customer. The primary objective is to maximize business opportunities and to ensure that TE Connectivity is in prime position to grow and develop profitable sales. 

What your background should look like:

Main responsibilities: 

  • Key Account Manager for the Truck and Bus business responsible for profitable sales growth, development of new business opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and report on local and wider European Truck and Bus requirements and link in with other CNHi group companies and local TE Sales Representatives as required to support projects and future developments.
  • Recognised as an expert in Developing and Selling TE products to Truck and Bus and other allocated local companies as required.
  • Builds a strong network of relationships at Truck and Bus group companies.
  • Responsible for preparation of financial justifications and presentation, quotations and negotiations of specific projects as well as pricing of existing business with special focus of profitability and contracting with customers.
  • Identify application areas where TE does not have a dominating position and define account coverage and product requirements.
  • Communicate results and account activity regularly and comprehensively as requested by the Regional Sales Manager and the Senior Management team.
  • Regularly reports on significant Truck and Bus market activities generally and at the OEM.

 

Main skills and qualifications:

  • Engineering qualifications would be an advantage
  • 6 to 8 years experience in various Business Administration and Sales assignments
  • Knowledge of trends / competition / technology that will influence products and sales
  • Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Fluent in Italian and English both written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to motivate others
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organisation
