About the role

The Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Account Manager based in Italy. This position will report to the Manager Sales, ICT CAM EMEA. 
The Account Manager is responsible for selling TE's products, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in ITALY and focus on Tier1s / CAMs (= Component & Aggregate Manufacturers) and harness makers in the Commercial Vehicle Industry.
This candidate will be responsible for executing the sales strategy in Italy to increase sales, build and develop a project pipeline with a strong focus on e-Mobility, Data-connectivity as well as PCB-headers.

Your responsibilities

Serve as the primary interface for the assigned customers
Customer satisfaction: ensure TE is perceived as the supplier of choice 
Drive profitable sales growth
Promote TE’s ICT-products 
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Understanding of all aspects of the Italian market for commercial vehicles: Available Market, Market Share, Key customers, Competitive landscape, Customers Business Objectives and Technologies.
Responsible to negotiate and implementing pricing
Align with other BU´s locally with implications to ICT-markets
Define account specific tactical activities aligned with our strategy
Communicate results (monthly billing review, forecast and market project highlights) as well as needs to direct supervisor. 
Collaborate with Field Application Engineers, Product Managers, Customer Service and Inside Sales to develop the local Italian CAM-market 

Your background

B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent education or background
At least 3 years of experience in Sales or similar function in an industrial environment
Passion for technical sales and engage with customer’s engineering teams
Ability to identify and pursue new customers / business opportunities   
Strong customer service orientation
Experience in the Commercial Vehicle Market in Italy or with Electric components is a benefit, ideally experience with Tier1- / CAM-customers 
Communication skills including presenting to different levels 
Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international organization
Fluency in English and Italian language
Position requires travel flexibility and  a valid driver’s license
