PROJECT MANAGER

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's project management is responsible for organizing the operational aspects of projects from inception to implementation. The project manager coordinates cross-departmental teams and serve as a connection between project management and planning, the project teams and line management. The Project Manager reviews the status of projects and budgets, organize schedules and prepare status reports. She/he evaluates project-related problems and develop solutions to comply with specifications and goals in the areas of productivity, quality and customer satisfaction. She/he will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervening and problem-solving with project managers, line managers and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:             

• Manage project scope, schedule and budget for projects within assigned business area
• Lead assigned core teams to achieve established goals
• Clearly communicate roles, expectations and responsibilities to team members on a regular basis using a cross-functional KPI process
• Establish and coordinate design reviews, Design of Experiment (DoE), and continuous improvement activities
• Initiation and maintenance of project-related change and risk management
• Management of interfaces within the project teams with a problem-solving and action-leading approach
• Communication to all internal and external stakeholder concerning the project status and activities
