Position Overview
Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for an intern with strong technical and team working capabilities in AI development. The individual shall be capable of working with AMT team members to develop the AI technologies for machine vision, process control, logistics, etc. 

This is a rare opportunity to join a high performing organization, reporting to AMT Shanghai Principal Engineer. This role will also be working closely with AMT electrical engineer, mechanical engineer and machine vision engineer. 

Key Responsibilities: 
1.    Assist in the testing and debugging of software systems, including writing test cases, executing test procedures, recording and feeding back test issues, to ensure the quality of software products.
2.    Support to sort data, edit reports based on requirements from the supervisor.
3.    Participate in the writing and maintenance of technical documents, such as algorithm design documents, code comments, user operation manuals, etc., to ensure the integrity and standardization of project documents.
4.    Track the cutting-edge trends and research results in the AI technology field and regularly conduct technical sharing within the team to provide ideas for team technological innovation.

Key Requirements:
1.    Know new technologies in AI / Computer Engineering, and eager to learn new technologies related.
2.    Master's degree or above, majoring in computer science and technology, software engineering, artificial intelligence, mathematics and other related fields, and currently a junior, senior, first - year or second - year graduate student.
3.    Possess solid programming fundamentals, proficient in at least one mainstream programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, etc., and familiar with common data structures and algorithms.
4.    Have a strong interest in artificial intelligence technology, understand the basic concepts and common algorithms of machine learning and deep learning, such as linear regression, decision trees, convolutional neural networks, etc.
5.    Have good English reading and writing skills, able to read English technical documents and academic papers.
6.    Be serious and responsible at work, with strong learning ability, problem-solving ability and team spirit.
7.    Demonstrated excellent teamwork while working with other people
8.    The period of internship more than 6 months is preferred and can work at least 3 days a week.

Minimum Professional Background Desired:
1.    Have relevant AI project experience, such as participating in machine learning competitions, scientific research projects or enterprise internship projects.
2.    Be familiar with at least one mainstream deep learning framework, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
3.    Possess certain mathematical foundations, master linear algebra, probability theory and mathematical statistics, etc.
4.    Have relevant technical certificates, such as the Qualification (Level) Certificate of Computer Technology and Software Professional.
5.    Advanced engineering degree (MS/PhD) candidate strongly preferred.

What your background should look like
