CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Job Overview

As communications specialist, you will support the Channel communications manager in corporate messaging across a variety of mediums, including written communications and digital media, to inform internal and external stakeholders of important information and resources.

Job Requirements

  • Add value by being a communications thought leader; make recommendations and help prepare messages, communications plans, distribution lists, etc. that align with the Channel communications strategy.
  • Be a storyteller; leverage this tool for communications and change management.
  • Utilize diverse mediums to communicate such as PowerPoint, SharePoint, articles, etc.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create and send communications to internal and external audiences about important announcements.
  • Own and update email distribution lists via Eloqua and internal management tools.
  • Gather and report analytics from Eloqua, FirstUp, and SharePoint.
  • Ensure TE’s authorized distribution partners follow TE branding guidelines when developing/executing marketing activities featuring the TE brand.

What your background should look like

  • 3+ years of professional communications experience, including a demonstrated ability to develop effective, visually appealing communications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand technical information, be concise, and capture interest.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; proficiency in Eloqua & FirstUp preferred.
  • Knowledgeable on current communications trends and practices.
  • Curious and genuinely interested in learning the business to enhance communications; some business knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to tell a story to inspire change.
  • Strong learning agility and comfortable working in an environment that requires quick thinking and adaptability.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrates ownership and autonomy in managing responsibilities while actively seeking opportunities to add value.
